So if you haven’t already noticed, I’ve moved back to WordPress. It seemed silly to pay for a custom domain when I’m not making any money from the blog so why not just go back to the free-hosting WordPress – the system that I’ve always used to blog anyway.

There are some minor changes to the site. Firstly, you need to add .wordpress.com to the end of the url now instead of just .com. Secondly, it looks slightly different – the header has changed (my old one no longer fit) and also I can’t get the Polyvore slideshow widget to work. It used to run along the bottom of the page and I really liked it, but unfortunately it isn’t allowed on a WordPress hosted blog. I don’t understand why, even after trawling through countless forums.

If there are any technical glitches they are entirely my fault. I have no idea how to import and export blogs and all that jazz so I do hope it has all transferred smoothly. If not, I have no idea what to do. I’m just going to hope for the best. I know that I have definitely lost a bunch of you in the process of migrating. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to migrate followers back to WordPress from a custom domain (Jetpack seemed to only do it one way) so I do hope you find your way back to me eventually.

Anyway, welcome to the new home and thanks for joining me!
